President, Principal Consultant

Amanda Lowe is the founder of Digital Pathology Consultants, LLC and has over ten years experience in management, sales, new business development, marketing and product support.  With over seven years experience in Digital Pathology, Amanda has established herself as an industry leader with expertise in Digital Pathology hardware, software, and workflow solutions.

Prior to starting Digital Pathology Consultants, Ms. Lowe had a successful career as the National Sales Manager for Bacus Laboratories, Inc founded by the inventors of Virtual Microscopy.  Bacus Laboratories was acquired by Olympus America, Inc in 2006 and Amanda continued her career with Olympus as a Clinical Digital Imaging Sales Representative where she managed product introductions, training of representatives, and the sale and implementation of digital pathology hardware and software within a twenty state territory.

Having worked with leading teaching hospitals, cancer centers, healthcare systems of all sizes, pharmaceutical and biotech companies, clinical and veterinary laboratories, Ms Lowe will provide clients with the straightforward insight required to be successful with Digital Pathology technology.  Amanda's dynamic personality and strong leadership skills have enabled her to establish lasting relationships,  build strong teams, and solve demanding problems.  Her excellent communication skils compliment her commitment to providing quality focused attention to every client.

Ms. Lowe is Six Sigma Green Belt, Lean, and Black Belt certified through Villanova University, is involved in both community and professional activities, and obtained her Bachelors of Arts from Michigan State University and the Eli Broad School of Business.  Amanda is also a member of the Digital Pathology Association, Association of Pathology Informatics,  and the National Association of Professional Women.
